The question
Hand-built harnesses fail in exactly two ways — an open circuit or a swapped pair. Why is testing them still a two-person job with a multimeter?
Where it stands
Unbuilt. The concept is a matrix of switched pins on both ends of a harness, sweeping every combination and reporting opens, shorts and swaps in one pass. Genuinely straightforward to build. It stays on this list because no project has needed it badly enough yet.
03Bench log

Cost estimated at roughly $120 in parts for 64 channels.

Build it the first time a project has more than about twenty conductors to verify.
