The question
A pressurised enclosure leaking through a bad gasket makes ultrasonic noise. Can a cheap MEMS microphone array locate the leak?
Where it stands
Unbuilt, and the physics is unverified at this scale. Commercial ultrasonic leak detectors exist and work, but they are built for industrial pressures. Whether the signal from a hand-pressurised IP67 box is above the noise floor of a $3 microphone is exactly the unknown.
