Can usable wire bonds be made without a machine that costs more than the workshop?

Where it stands

No. Fourteen attempts across three transducer setups produced zero bonds that survived a pull test. The requirement is simultaneous control of force, ultrasonic power and time to tolerances that hand-built equipment cannot hold. This is logged so nobody here tries it again.
